Blue & Gold Banquet 2011

On Valentine's Day, my husband suprised me with a new Cricut Cake Mini!!!  So EXCITING!!!!  So FUN!  This was my first trial.  Each year I donate a cake to my son's troop to celebrate the Blue and Gold!  I think my scouts turned out really cute!  I must admit, the decorating is very plain on this one.  Next time, I need to plan ahead a bit more.  It does take quite a while to make, cut and assemble all of the pieces.

Rainbow Zebra Cupcake Cake

A 24 piece cupcake cake. 
Vanilla cake, iced and filled with vanilla buttercream.

Burger & Dog

Today's weather made me dream of nicer days!  If it weren't raining in my neighborhood, a burger and dog might be on our dinner plates tonight!

I used a loaf pan to make the 'roll'.  The hotdog is carved from the middle piece I had removed from the roll.  How cute is the relish?  This relish is made from some green jelly beans diced into small pieces!
